INCREDIBLE is the only
word to describe Tim - not only does he look like Norman, perform
like Norman and generally misbehave on stage like Norman, but
he is a totally world class DJ act in his own right, so close
your eyes and the experience is still just as mind-blowing.
Tim continues to rip
up the dancefloors of Europes club circuit, and getting rave
reviews from all quarters - even from FAT BOY SLIM himself ..."It's
uncanny and a real honour to be the first DJ to have a tribute
Radio One interview 16/01/00) and ".. I won't need to work after
the baby because FATBOY TIM can turn up instead of me..."
One - Dave Pearce Show - 05/12/00).
An increasing international
exposure has made Tim a superstar in his own right in the Czech
Republic and he was also the surprise highlight of the 2001 Monaco
Grand Prix after race entertainment, as well as gigs in Spain,
South Africa (Xmas 2003) , India (NYE 2003), Romania and Dubai.
Norman even flew Tim
up to the Juice award ceremonies to play when he was unable to
do so because of other committments - a hell of recommendation
and not one we can better here.
Based in Newquay, Englands
surfers paradise Tim has continued to make the summers his own
at Newquays favourite underground club the Koola, playing
alongside the likes of Lottie and Yousef. Tims own

outrageous four deck shows bringing a breath of fresh air to
the Newquay scene. Tim also residencies at Plymouth night Therapy

TooREX (featuring the incredible Bobby T as Marc Bolan) bring back the Glam Rock era of the early seventies with a spell binding show that covers most of Marc Bolan's career from the early hippy period of Tyrannosaurus Rex to the megastar, chart topping days of T-Rex. Complete with full costume changes, retro live equipment, glitter, and more than a dash of star quality, TooREX come incredibly close to the real thing.
This full nostalgic rock concert usually includes some early singles such as 'Deborah', 'One Inch Rock' and 'Ride A White Swan' to the big hits 'Get It On', 'Telegram Sam', 'Hot Love', 'Metal Guru', 'Jeepster' and 'Children of the Revolution', to some of the fondly remembered album material.
The show can also feature a selection of T-Rex tracks such as ('I Love to Boogie”, Cosmic Dancer” etc) that were featured in the Award winning box-office smash movie Billy Elliot!!
With sell-out shows, and a Glam revival in full blossom, there's never been a better time to grab your spaceball-shoes and feather boas and relive the legend of Marc Bolan and T-Rex.
Alvin Stardust "Marc was one of my best mates and when I work with TooREX it brings a lump to my throat - it reminds me of some fab memories- great band! "
'Solid Gold' Stella & Steve "It was so fantastic to see you guys twice in less than 24 hours, first at JB'S Birmingham then next your first appearance at Liverpool Mathew St Festival where you gained many new fans (you left them wanting more!) Both performances as brilliant as ever & we loved the new songs. Bobby does an amazing Spaceball Ricochet & the backing is so cool, we think it really works well. Can't wait for the exciting times ahead in Belfast & The Special Anniversary Gig in Putney where we know you will do Marc proud. Love you all."
Dan and friends from Shoreham"These guys blew me away! Too REX headline 70’s Weekender Butlins, Bobby is just so like Marc Bolan it freaked me! the hair, the moves, the smile and the voice; the other guitarist added some nice touches, lots of very accurate chops from the records and nice bvs, bassist just floored me with his bvs and Currie-esque fingerwork and the drummer just made the whole flippin’ place dance, it was absolutely rammed and heaving! I have never seen these guys before, heard of them but not seen. SEE THEM!! HEAR THEM! See you in Brighton soon! "
David and Jo, from Surrey "TooREX = T.REX. Best we've ever seen and we saw T.REX! "
